Meet Stephie

Namaste Beautiful friends! I am Stephie. I am a certified Health Coach and speaker. I love food, creating food, and I am Passionate about food. More importantly, I love sharing my knowledge of healthy plant based food with others. I want to share the good word on good eats with as many people as possible. I want to help others feel good about themselves and not feel restricted within allergy and weight constraints and I want everyone to live a life full of clarity and mental wellbeing. Let me show you a way of living happily with food and still enjoying the taste. I want everyone to be just as happy as I am when eating.

Stephie's Energy Bars

So, I have done a lot of tinkering in the Kitchen over the years and one of my play recipies that originaly was supposed to be for myself, turned into a product launch. I wanted to make a "healthy-in between meals- snack," with healthy fats, carbs, and sugar. What makes my product different from others is that there is absolutely no refined sugar added. NO SUGAR ADDED! Just the natural sugars from the fruit, which have added fiber, which helps in processing of sugar more slowly into our blood stream and doesn't immediately go to you know where. :) There are no preservatives or unnatural additives, which makes my product naturally perishable, luckily not right away, unless its from your own chewing. Though I am a firm believer in not over indulging in too many calories, sugars, carbs, fats, etc. I am also a firm believer in making sure you get your nutrition from whole foods and the right sources. With my bars, you get healthy fats from the nuts & seeds, healthy sugars and fiber from the fruit, and a touch of carbs from Gluten Free oats. Enjoy!

How did Stephie's Start?

11 Years ago my Brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia and Bipolar. It was a really tough time for my mom and I. We were not aware of what this meant. I loved my brother dearly and being the positive and helpful people that we are, we began doing so much research on the human body. The more and more we dove in, the more health and nutrition popped up for us as a solution. Then the book, Skinny Bitch, fell into our hands and it seemed to be the answer. For anyone who doesn't know about this book, it basically tells one how to become vegan in a fun way and reasons why one should adapt a plant based lifestyle. We decided to do a three month VEGAN  challenge with my brother. We said if he tried eating vegan for three months so would we. The challenge went great. Sure, the challenge had its moments and learning curves but we stayed strong. After the three months I realized the impact of eating plant based, meat free, and dairy free had on my body. It wasn't easy switching over, and at times I felt alone. But, the more I saw the effects of my energy, digestion, and respiratory system, the more I realized this should be a change that should become permanent.
